What is Nanites?

Nanites is our first project, a Third-Person Zombie shooter game inspired by the likes of Fortnite Save the World, Lethal Company, and various other incredible games and media.

At it’s core, Nanites is a survival game where you fight zombie-like enemies, explore the maps and gather resources.

What’s it about?

There was once a research facility in a volcanic region known as Volmoor, this was known as The Future Research Facility, or F.R.F.

One day in December, while everyone was preparing to head home for Christmas, a fault in an airlock system caused them to escape their chamber. Within seconds, everyone on site was zombified, turning into horrific creatures known as Vessels.

They soon found their way to nearby regions and kept on spreading, within a matter of hours the entire planet was covered and almost everyone was now a vessel, except for him.

Why should I care?

Whether you are a fan of any of our inspirations, such as Fortnite Save the World, or someone new who has never played or heard of them, Nanites will likely, no, definitely have something for you. From a deep engaging narrative for story enthusiasts, to unique and innovative mechanics, Nanites aims to provide an enjoyable experience for everyone.

What Sets Nanites Apart?

A core feature that sets Nanites apart is dynamic difficulty. The game adapts based on how many players are in the session. Whether you play solo, with one partner, or in a team of four, the game will adjust enemy numbers, health, intensity, etc. to create a balanced yet challenging experience.

We aim to deliver a deeply engaging world with rich storytelling and immersive gameplay that resonates with players on an emotional level, exploring themes of trauma through nuanced narrative and character development. The impact of past experiences is felt throughout the game, allowing players to connect with the story, disorders and themes without being explicitly named.

Note: We’re working with professionals in the mental health field to ensure that these themes are portrayed authentically and with sensitivity.
